Ad | Are you always on the look out for those little hidden gems? Well @isaacsbirmingham feels just like one of them. Hidden away behind @grandhotelbirmingham but so close to Cathedral Square you can almost feel the perfection radiating from the restaurant.

Isaac’s is connected to the Grand Hotel so that guests can easily access and enjoy a meal whilst staying in Birmingham. The location is perfect, nice and close to Snow hill station for convenience of popping in for a drink and great for walking around Cathedral Square. @isaacsbirmingham sells its self as an American inspired restaurant but it is so much more. Yes, there are elements of American cuisine in an elegant fashion but also dishes inspired by other cultures. So you can definitely have your pick of meals and there is always something on the menu for everyone.

Isaac’s bar is fully stocked with a whole array of drinks from the classics to a selection of cocktails, wines and lagers. We tried a few rounds of drinks and settled on the Long Island Iced Tea and the Strawberry Daiquiri as being our favourites so far.

For food we enjoyed a couple of starters of mushroom calamari and salmon on bagel, then for mains the Isaac short rib burger and the fish cake. Spectacular food, every single bite was stunning. To finish we enjoyed a shared dessert of the baked Alaska which was equally as gorgeous as the rest.

Whist visiting @isaacsbirmingham we saw some amazing steaks come out from the kitchen to another table and they looked so succulent, I could only imagine how they tasted. Luckily Isaac’s do a Steak and Wine night every Wednesday which looks and sounds perfect for a midweek treat to get you over the hump of work.

A massive shout out to Adam @chefkhymia for inviting us down to this fantastic experience of food and the rest of the team for cooking up a storm in the kitchen and waiting on us at the bar. All the staff at Isaac’s are so polite, attentive and informative. They definitely add to the experience and the enjoyment had in the restaurant. Thank you.
