Welcome to our website, we are James and Khaleda from Solihull. We run the account @Foodies_of_brum over on Instagram where we share all the amazing food place in and around Birmingham.
What To Expect
Other than eating food and enjoying cocktails from some of the best places in the West Midland we also have day jobs. We are both Design Technology Teachers in secondary schools, Khaleda Head of department and James Head of Careers. We have taught for around 14 years and love the main parts of our jobs, obviously there are parts that are not so enjoyable, but hey, that’s life and food make makes everything better.
What We Do
Over on Instagram we do lots of food reviews and throw a little bit of personal life on to our stories. But we have never really thought it fit well, so here is our more personal blog. We hope to share our more detailed food reviews along with day trips, events, theatre show, holidays abroad and home, cool new products and much more. We will always be honest as we have always been on our Instagram page. You will hear about the good, the bad and the down right ugly parts of what we get up to. We honestly hope you enjoy reading about our escapades.
